 National Science Day Celebration


First-year students of Physical science organized a national day celebration on Feb 28th. They have prepared a google forum Quiz. I am proud that I became a part of that. the teacher assigned me to prepare a forum. I have done it very carefully. And Many students participated in it.



National Science Day 2021 is being observed on February 28th.

National Science Day is celebrated every year on February 28. This day recalls the notable invention "Raman Effect" by India's greatest scientist C V Raman. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for this discovery. Since that day, February 28 is being commemorated as National Science Day to recall the great discovery of CV Raman.

Theme of National Science Day 2021

The theme for National Science Day 2021 is "Future of STI: Impacts on Education, Skills, and Work". The National Science Day 2021 aims to motivate the students to gain hands-on experience in the field of science.

The celebration of National Science Day consists of public speeches, science movies, science exhibitions, events based on science themes, concepts, and many more activities.

The government of India felicitates scientists who have contributed immensely in the field of science to mark the anniversary of India's greatest discovery- 'Raman effect'.

Who was CV Raman?

Dr CV Raman was a renowned scientist who had a bachelors' and masters' in Physics from the Presidency College in Madras. He took part in numerous science competitions along with the government job. Afterward, he received a scholarship from the Indian government.

Community living camp

On the first day, we planned everything for the camp. We have selected the theme as "EXPLORE THE ENDURANCE". We have selected a Teacher co-ordinator. It was Dr.Leena Vahid and Dr.K R Sivapriya. Then we have selected two student representatives, Jebin and Arya. Then we have divided the whole class into 3 houses and also different committees for proper working. The duties and management for each day were given to each house. All the students were active and they have come up with creative and innovative ideas every day and put a lot of effort to make the camp beautiful.  We begin our camp by flag hoisting with marchpast of all the house.
